In the months of April and May, Ruth Circle is holding a scavenger hunt-type collection to gather items needed for donation to the Cunningham Children's Home. We hope to fulfill two baskets from this mission's wish list. The first is for a "Newcomer Kit," including toiletry and personal care items, and the second is for an "Independent Living Start-Up Kit," including cleaning and first-time apartment items. Look for Ruth Circle members on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings circulating a clipboard and list. If you would like to commit to donating something on the list, you sign up and either agree to bring the item to us or let us make arrangements to collect it from your home. Items range from a simple tooth brush to a basic set of pots and pans. Anything and everything you can donate is very much appreciated! We meet next on Monday, May 20th to assemble these kits and celebrate with a dinner out.
